What is paint protection film (pPF)?
Paint protection film (PPF), also known as clear bra or clear film, is a transparent, urethane-based material applied to the exterior surfaces of vehicles to protect the paint from chips, scratches, and other damage.
PPF is designed to absorb the impact of road debris and prevent it from reaching the underlying paint, preserving the vehicle's appearance and resale value. It can be custom-cut to fit specific areas of the vehicle, such as the hood, fenders, bumpers, and side mirrors, providing comprehensive protection without altering the aesthetics of the vehicle. Additionally, modern PPF formulations are self-healing, meaning that minor scratches and swirl marks can disappear with the application of heat, maintaining a pristine finish for years to come.
